Work and Worship!!

Hi Friends... This last day of this year, Let me share something I came across which sounded interesting and at the same time thought provoking!! It is related to the Work and Worship…

We all know that sage Narada is a great devotee of Lord Vishnu and he chants restlessly the name of the Lord “Narayana…! Narayana…!” Narada was in pride that he is the greatest devotee of Vishnu in this entire universe. Lord Sri Hari having realized his inner thought called Narada and told “Narada…you please go to a particular village and meet my devotee over there…And you know he is my true devotee!” Narada couldn’t believe this, so went on to meet the person suggested by the Lord to just disprove the fact.

The Person, the Lord Vishnu suggested is a poor peasant. Daily when he wakes up he chants the name of “Vishnu” and starts his work. All the day long, he is so busy in his work sowing seeds…farming his land etc. He comes home tired, spends some time with family. Before he goes to sleep, he chants the name of “Vishnu” and ends his day. Narada returns back and complains to Vishnu “O Lord, I chant thousand times your name daily and how can I be comparable with that farmer over there who takes your name just twice”

Lord Vishnu smiles and hands a bowl filled with Oil to Narada...and asks him with a smile “Narada…!! A small test for you!! Take this bowl of oil and make a complete round around Vaikuntam and remember that not even single drop should spill from it”.

Narada takes up the challenge and completes the task successfully. Now Vishnu asks him “Dear Narada, now tell me how many times you chanted my name while going around Vaikuntam this time”.

Narada Replied “Come on Lord…I was so tensed not to spill even a drop of oil…So I did not get a chance to chant your name”

Lord Vishnu answers him “See Narada…this small bowl of oil diverted your attention away from me…Now look at the farmer, who in spite of bearing the burden of his family, he chants my name twice…” Narada realizes the truth and discards the pride he had a moment before. It is the work we do with utmost respect that makes us closer to the lord and not anything else. No matter call the divine by any name…Allah, Rama or Jesus, Just remember to chant the name of the divine once a day and you are there in his heart forever!

సాక్షాత్తు శ్రీ రంగనాధుడు..'సిరీ'భూ' దేవి సమెతులై న్యూజెర్సీ విచ్చెసాడు..

ఏడు కొండలపై నివాసముండే రమా నాధుడు..అమెరికా దేశాన్ని పావనం చెసాడు

కని విని యెరుగని ఆ కళ్యాణ వైభొగం తో ఇక్కడి వారందరిని తరింప చెసాడు..

ఆద్యంతం ఆసక్తి దాయకంగా జరిగిన శ్రీమన్నారాయుని కళ్యాణ విశేషాలు మీ కోసం..

2010 మే 1వ తారిఖు ..మొర్గన్ విల్లె, న్యూజెర్సీ లొ శ్రీ వారి వివాహ మహోత్సవం జరిగింది ..

ఆ రొజంతా అక్కడ ఒక పండుగ వాతావరణం నెలకొంది..

ఆడవారంతా పట్టు చీరలతో మగవారంతా పట్టుపంచెలు..షేర్వాణిలతో ఆ మండపానికి మరింత శొబగులు అద్దారు

ఆంతా చూస్తుంటే మన తెలుగు నాట జరిగే సంప్రదాయమైన పెళ్ళి సందడి లా ఉంది..

మరి అక్కడ జరిగేది మాములు పెళ్ళా? శాక్షాత్తు శ్రీ.”శ్రీనివాసుని పెళ్ళి”సందడి..

ఫ్రొద్దున్నే సుప్రభాత సేవ తో స్వామి వారి సెవలు మొదలయ్యాయి..తరువాత అలంకారం జరిగింది..అప్పటికే కళ్యాణం కోసం రిజిస్ట్రేషన్ చేసుకున్న భక్తులందరు లైన్ లొ ఎదురు చూస్తున్నారు..

ముందు గా స్వామి వారిని ఊరెగించిన తరువాతే అందరిని కళ్యాణ మండపం లొకి అనుమతిస్తారు..

దాదాపు 9:30 కి ఊరెగింపు మొదలయ్యింది.వేద మంత్రాల ఉచ్చరణ తో,సన్నాయి మేళాలతొ ఆ పురుషొత్తముడిని పల్లకి లొ మండపం చుట్టూ ఊరెగించారు..విచ్చేసిన భక్తులందరు స్వామి వారి వెనకే నడుస్తూ కళ్యాణ మండపం లోకి చేరుకున్నారు. కళ్యాణం టికెట్లు తీసుకున్న వారందరు వారి వారి టికెట్ ఖరీదు ని బట్టి మూడు పంక్తులలొ కూర్చున్నారు..

ముందుగ కార్యక్రమ నిర్వాహకులు అందరికి స్వాగతాలు పలికారు..ముఖ్య పూజారులు.. కళ్యాణ విశిష్టతను సభ కి వివరించారు..తరువాత తిరుమల తిరుపతి దేవస్థానం నుంచి విచ్చేసిన గాయకులు “బ్రహ్మ మొక్కటే పర బ్రహ్మమొక్కటే””గొవింద గొవింద అని కొలువరే..” అంటూ పలు అన్నమయ్య కీర్తనలు, పాటలతో కళ్యాణ వేడుక ని ప్రారంభించారు..

కళ్యాణం లొని ముఖ్య ఘట్టాలైన పెళ్ళికొడుకుని స్వాగతించుట,అగ్ని హోత్రం,మధుపర్కాలు(బట్టలు పెట్టటం),మహా శంకల్పం,మాంగళ్య ధారన ,తలంబ్రాలు,ఫూర్నాహుతి..ఇలా అన్ని ఎంతో చక్కగా వివరిస్తూ అత్యంత శ్రద్దా భక్తులతో నిర్వహించారు..

మధ్య మధ్యలొ “పిడికెడు తలంబ్రాల పెళ్ళి కూతురు..””చూడరమ్మ సతులార..” ఇలా మరికొన్ని అన్నమయ్య కీర్తనలు..పసందైన పాటలు విచ్చేసిన వారికి ఉత్తేజాన్ని పంచాయి.

అలాగె సినీ గేయ రచయిత జొన్నవిత్తుల గారు రాసి ఆలపించిన “విమాన వేంకటనాధుడు..ఎయిర్ ఇండియా విమానమెక్కి విదేశమొచ్చాడు..” అంటూ సాగిన పాట అందరిని అలరించింది.

అలా ఆద్యంతం ఉల్లాసభరితంగా జరిగిన వివహానంతరం అందరికి సర్వదర్శనం ఎర్పాటు చేసారు..

ఆ తరువాత అందరికి అన్నదానం అంటే మహాప్రసాదం పంచారు ..

సర్వదర్శనం దాదాపు సాయంత్రం 6-7 దాక జరుగుతూనే ఉంది..గురువాయప్పన్ మందిరం లొ పార్కింగ్ సరిపొదు కనుక అందరికి వొనేజ్ ఆఫిసు దగ్గర పార్కింగ్ ఇవ్వటం జరిగింది.అక్కడనుచి కళ్యాణ మండపానికి బస్సులు తిరిగాయి..

ఇక ఎంతో మంది వాలంటీర్లు ఎన్నో రోజుల ముందు నుంచి యెర్పాటులు చూసుకున్నారు ..

అలాగే శనివారం రోజు రిజిస్ట్రేషన్ దగ్గరనుంచి..అన్నదాన కార్యక్రమం దాక అన్ని పనుల్లొ చురుగ్గా పాల్గొని శ్రీనివాసునికి తమ కృతజ్ఞతలు తెలుపుకున్నారు..

ఈ మహత్తర కార్యాన్ని తలపెట్టిన ప్రముఖులు ,వేదికనలంకరించిన అర్చకులు ,సాయమందించిన వాలంటీర్లు ..విచ్చేసిన భక్తులు నిజంగా ధన్యులయారు!!

సమస్తం రమణీయం,స్మ్రుతి పధం లొ చిరస్మరణీయం..

Positive Vibrations ..

I think I have shared quite a few articles on Movie and Music.Now let me take a small break and share something “More” nice which I read.

Have you ever felt that you are influenced by some vibrations from the external world.More surprising fact is that,We too emanate vibrations from our body.Hmm not convinced!! Anyways,Let me tell this little story to prove this fact.

There is a sage who used to meditate in the sea shore daily.He used to be so peaceful in those moments.During that time,many birds used to play around him and some even used to sit on his shoulders.

One small boy who comes to play regularly in the sea shore asked the sage “You have so many birds surrounding you,Can’t you catch one for me?.I could keep that as my pet”

Sage agreed and when he sat for the meditation, the next day morning,Many birds flew above his head.But not even a single bird stopped and sat on his shoulders.The birds were able to sense the intentions of the sage because of the vibes that are originated from his body.

Yes True!!that is the same reason why we see brightness and aura of light surrounding great leaders and sacred saints.With with help of this brightness deep inside them,They could influence their followers.

Not only that, Also we see in geographic channel,Many hosts befriending wild animals.That is yet again another illustration of the good intentions they had towards the animals.

I guess if we develop good thoughts and encouraging attitude in our inner self,we could influence our friends and surroundings in more positive way and thus gain many friends too…

Search for Happiness

Apart from sharing the movie stuff,I always love to share something that inspired me and which might inspire you too..

Recently I read a story which I liked very much.I would like to share it today .

We all strive for this feeling called happiness.We try to seek happiness from whatever we do,wherever we go.One might feel happy if he is busy.other if he sleeps well,Other if he has an workout in gym and there are also few who are happy when some one is unhappy and Many who are never happy.This is story of such unhappy person.

There is a rich guy who have access to all pleasures in the world.He has lots of money,but he is not happy.He could not find out the reason why he is unhappy.One fine day he packs all the treasure he has, in a box and takes that to the saint.He forwards the box over to him and ask him

“Dear Saint!Please take away all my wealth and give me the happiness”

Saint takes that box laughs at him and will run away with the box.

This guy becomes mad.Starts running behind him yelling “What a wrong thing I have done.I have given all my wealth to this bloody saint.He is such an idiot.”

After running for quiet some time,Saint comes and stands there at the place where he started.By the time our rich guy is almost exhausted and he stops before the saint and takes the deep breath. Saint hands him over the box with a smile on his face.

This guy feels very “happy” after seeing his wealth back.At that moment the Saint asks..”Are you happy now.tell me how much happy you are”.Guy replies “I am so happy that I got my wealth back”.

“Ok now tell me what you have before you met me and what is that you have now made you happy”

Rich guy has no reply.In fact he had the same box which he bought with him now .

“Yes there is nothing you have new,but you are happy now.Do you agree that this happiness lies with in us.No thing in nature can give or snatch it from us.So stop searching for happiness which already lies within you”

So Don’t you think we need to stop being unhappy and enjoy the life to the fullest..
